    What would Aldo Montano do
If he was here right now,
    He'd make a plan
    And he'd follow through,
    That's what Aldo Montano'd do.

When Aldo Montano was in the olympics,
    Fencing for the gold,
He did two steps and a magic flunge,
    While wearing a blind fold.

When Aldo Montano was in China,
    Fighting panda bears,
He used his sabre fire breath,
    And saved the maidens fair.

So what would Aldo Montano do
    If he were here today,
I'm sure he'd get censored by Gav,
    That's what Aldo Montao'd do.

He would kill the six-fingered man in a duel. ... "Hello. My name is Aldo Montano. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

His father (and grandfather, for that matter) took silver in the Olympics. Bit of a family history as noted swordsmen (all sabre).

Actually - Gold in team, as did 2 of his uncles, and the 3rd uncle got a silver in Foil team - he must be sitting with little kids at Xmas dinner.

That's what I'd thought, but when I did a quick search this morning the couple articles I found immediately cited silvers. Perhaps they were only looking at individual accomplishments?

On a somewhat related note, in advance apologizing for bearing with me (uncharacteristically I have a touch too much time on my hands this afternoon)
winning Olympix Men's Team Saber seems to be an extremely exclusive honour :

23 tournaments held - only 4 nations have won

    Hungary 10
    USSR/CIS/Russia 7
    Italy 4
    France 2
thus pre 2004 it was a club of 3 - Germany did win their own private 1906 Olympix which is not recognized by IOC.

in comparison Men's Team Epee 22 Tournaments - 6 winners

    Italy 8
    France 7
    Hungary 3
    West Germany/Germany 2
    Sweden 1
    Belgium 1

    Men's Team Foil 21 Tournaments 6 winners

    France 7
    Italy 6
    USSR/Russia 4
    West Germany/Germany 2
    Poland 1
    Cuba 1

    Women's Team Foil 12 Tournaments 5 Winners
    USSR/Russia 5
    Italy 3
    West Germany 2
    Hungary 1
    France 1

Just to relate to 3 most prestigious events in World Sports (IMHO)

    Footie World Cup

    16 tournaments 7 winners

    Brasil 5
    Italy 4
    West Germany 3
    Argentina 2
    Uruguay 2
    France 1
    England 1

    Hockey Olympix
    21 tournaments 6 Champions

    USSR/CIS 8
    Canada 7
    USA 2
    Sweden 2
    Czech Republic 1
    Great Britain 1

    Basketball Olympix
    15 Tournaments 4 Champions

    USA 13
USSR 2 (no 1972 moaning, please)
    Argentina 1
    Yugoslavia 1
