Does anyone know what happened with the head coach for Yale fencing? (It sounds like he was let go rather abruptly.)

There was a whole week without getting any names but now up to 112 fencers and 25 schools. I usually stop getting names by mid-May and stop posting new reports then even if I get one or two names after that. So May 19 or 20 will probably be my last posting until mid-December for the 2020 crop.

In this latest report, I have Luke Kinney listed as a potential MF fencer for Air Force. He posted that he was accepted at Air Force but he has been fencing both epee and foil in USFA competitions. He seems to prefer foil, so that's the column I put him in.

Only three new names (and all in MF) and one new school and so up to 127 names and 27 schools.

Ten new names and 2 new schools and so up to 142 names and 30 schools. The deadline for accepting admissions must be coming up. Those who were accepted by more than one school and have not posted anything until they decide which school to go to may result in a bunch of announcements this coming week.

I'm going to be in Columbus and may hear one or two names there. So, my next (last?) report for this season will be after July 4. (And please remember to indicate the fencer's weapon as well as name and school.)

I hope this thread, perhaps with some common sense provisions, can continue on r/fencing but if not that perhaps it can continue on some independent platform. It’s a big service to college fencers past present and future not to mention the fencing community at large.
