I have about 8 blue turtle Uhlmann reels that I inherited.
I personally went through all of them, used them 4 or 5 times,
My name is all over them in paint to keep "volunteers" from not knowing who they belong to.
I have no clue what these things are worth. Now, before someone that cannot read this post and asks: well how much you want for them, please, I am asking what they are worth as a used reel.
I have had several folks asking me if I want to sell them and did not know a value.
Favero reels, I know values. Uhlmann, no clue.

Considering that I can buy a brand new Favero reel from another supplier for $365, my recommendation is $180. That’s assuming that everything is in reasonable working condition and there’s enough cord inside of it.

$180 is what I recall seeing as a typical price when they come up on Ebay. Given that new they're typically $350-$400 from US vendors or ~$265 from Fechtsport-Langenkamp at current exchange rates, that seems reasonable.

    Cool,
    Now I know.
    About $180 each,
Like I said dcchew, I went through them when I got them.
I personally replaced all the stupid missing parts, replaced the wire on the ones that were of course too short, feet, bad ends and so on. Gave me something to do after hours :)

    Thanks guys,
