Does anyone know anything about the pre-bent "Schermasport" french grip offered by Negrini?

    Hi Duellist,
I would highly recommend the Schermasport French grip and pommel. It's beautifully made, very comfortable, wonderfully balanced, and you can bend the grip into just about any shape you might desire.

I agree with tantricthonger but with the additional comments:

    They are expensive.

They used to be difficult to get in the US, but I believe AFS carries them now.

Setting up the tang with a lot of bend can be "challenging", especially with maraging blades.

Although they balance well, they are heavy. I eventually stopped using them because I started to develop tennis elbow and was looking for any way to lighten my weapon.
