I am looking for a copy of an old epee manual and lesson plan that was written by Aladar back in the mid-80's (or so).

A few years ago I saw it online, and downloaded from some club website. I managed to lose the copy I downloaded, and now can't find it anywhere.

If any one knows has access to it, would you please let me know.

I know it's out there..... somewhere.

This is intersting. I think I saw a copy on the Leon Paul stand at a recent tournament. Try contacting Leon Paul at www.LeonPaul.com. I may be wrong - but there was definitely an Aladar Kogler Fencing manual floating about being discussed.

    Hmmm.
LP sell "Clearing the Path to Victory" by Kogler, a generalised sports psych guide (lots of AT, Yoga, visualisation type stuff). I have a copy - it's pretty good.

Haven't seen them selling any other Kogler books though Gav.
I'd love to be proved wrong.

There were a few people standing around discussing a kogler book that I hadn't seen before. It's possible that it was someone's own book that they were discussing and just happened to be standing next to the stall.

No this was an epee manual that was put together for a camp a long long time ago...

A gentleman did PM me and said he had a copy, but only a paper copy. He was going to fax it to me (40 pages, or so), but I realized that don't have a consistant fax number where I could take a fax of that size. Probably I need to have him fax it to a friend of mine, who will scan it to PDF and e-mail it to me.

If I get all that done, I'll mail it to anyone else who wants it.

Is this the 'Olympic training manual" including observations oon the 'German Method'? I used to have a copy of that but lost it. If it is, let me know when you get it, I'd like to have a look at it.

Just uploaded the pdf's that I have of a 1986 National Epee Training Camp that includes some Kogler stuff.

Go to www.fencing101.com and select "Downloads" on the left hand menu. The Epee docs are in the "Training" category.

    Cheers,
    Craig

Yes! Those are the docs. I'd lost them in my last house move.

    Notes from camp

Those were really good. Can anyone who either attended the camp(s) or did any of the drills mentioned provide further information (did they seem to help?).
