Hi fencers. Update. Last November I had BRCA cancer. I had a lumpectomy in January 2018 and everything turned out well. I did 21 days of radiation & take Tamoxifen to prevent reoccurrance. The type I had was ER+, or estrogen positive. Estrogen is made by adrenal glands and fatty tissues, men also produce estrogen. I cut Soy from my diet as soy is a plant based estrogen. Also I knew something was off when I fenced and found I had Hashimotos. I think there is a link in there between soy/BRCA and possibly Hashimoto and BRCA. I finished up grad school years ago and nearly did another but its too late to start another now. But this could be a good study.

Noone studied medicine, or an allied health I take it. I hoped to do a project that tallies all brca er+ and soy intake. I would have to have access to data from ACS. Its a good topic for grad student.
