    Hey parents!

Last year I hosted an academic and fencing clinic and it was such a success there will be another clinic this year offered in TWO locations. Do you have questions about how to get your fencer into a Division I school through fencing? You can join Kamali Thompson and several elite Division I athletes for an intensive 3 weapon high school fencing clinic on December 1 at Escrimeur Fencing Club in East Brunswick or December 2 at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club in Port Chester, NY. The camp is all 3 weapons and will consist of conditioning, footwork, and drills specific to each weapon. The preparation for college segment will instruct the fencers how to use fencing to boost their resumes and personal essays, how to approach college coaches, and expectations as a student athlete. The parents will also have an opportunity to ask questions about the college application process and the recruiting process.

    Clinic Schedule:
    11 - 12 30 Warm up, conditioning, footwork
    12 30- 1 Lunch
1 - 4 Separate into groups for drills, free fencing, college
    330 - 4 Parent Q&A about college fencing

Fencers must have minimum 1 year of fencing experience. Fencers must be able to provide their own fencing equipment.
