The anti-climatic final between Kim Jung Hwan (KOR) and Aron Szilagyi (HUN) on the left.  We see at the beginning of the bout that Kim is hurt and unable to move well.  He guts his way up to the break relying on blade actions (line and riposte) to score some touches on Szilagyi.  At the break Kim withdrew from the bout, giving Szilagyi the gold.

While I'm sure Szilagyi was grateful for the points, I think he would have liked to have fenced for it. I would have loved to have seen a bout between a healthy Kim and Szilagyi.
