Soren Thompson and Seth Kelsey continue their Olympic quest in Paris at the Challenge Monal.

Based on his result of 32 and a top-32 result by Canadian Hugues Boisvert-Simard, Seth Kelsey has the points for the 2nd American zonal qualification spot for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Kelsey was ranked 109th in the preliminary rounds coming out of pools, but fought his way to the final 64.  In the top-64 he knocked off 8th ranked Geza Imre (HUN) 15-11 before falling to Lucenay (FRA) 14-13.

Soren Thompson made his way to the top-16 with victories over Alexandr Velikanov (RUS) 15-14 and Radoslaw Zawrotniak (POL) 15-7 before losing to 7th seed Max Heinzer (SUI) 15-9.

Jason Pryor also posted a good showing for the United States, earning an top-32 finish.

Silvio Fernandez (VEN) has posted another top-8 result, peaking at the right time for Olympic qualification.
