How to Figure out Who you are Fencing in a DE Without Looking at the DE Table

Wondering who you’re fencing when they post DE seeding?

This is a simple tournament trick: (WARNING! Math Involved!)

Take the bracket size, add one, subtract your seed. That’s who you’re fencing.

(E.g. Tableau of 32, you are 15 seed. 32 + 1 – 15 = you are fencing the 18 seed)
