This word is not used in fencing except for a reprimand. eg: "you are bludgeoning your opponent" "don't bludgeon your opponent". This is usually followed by a brief description of how the weapon is correctly used; and could be combined with a penalty card.

If this this word can be used to describe what you're doing, one hopes you're not yet competing, and that a coach is quickly walking over to correct you.
