US Women's Sabre fencer Mariel Zagunis now has her ticket punched for Athens! Zagunis capped off a strong World Cup win with the announcement by the US Fencing Association that she had been awarded a bid to compete in the Athens Olympic Games. |

Month long rumors that Egypt would not be sending a Men's Sabre team to the Olympic Games were confirmed today when the German federation announced that Germany would be sending their Men's Sabre team to Athens to compete in the spot given up by Egypt. |
