PBT Foil Lame, non-Inox, Green

I've had two of these lames now, the first I used probably about a dozen times, the second is new and still in the wrapper, though I have tried it on.

The first ended up being too small (I could get it on, but was no where near rules-worthy), so I had to replace it myself, as it had my name stenciled on it.

The new one is still just slightly high on the hips, but I am told by most (as in nearly all) of the fencing.net forums that it should be okay.

The material is very high quality, but the green color of the fabric is just a little darker than in the picture. It still looks stunning though, and will certainly set you apart from all the blue and red and silver out there.

My new one fits very well.

One problem with the lame though is the inferior Velcro used. The soft, non-hook side gets pretty crappy after only a couple dozen uses. The zipper seems fine, but the teeth themselves in the zipper, and zipper overall are very "fine" very small teeth and zipper head. I don't think it will be a problem for myself though, as I treat my gear with great care.
