Summary: Great Pants
November 25th, 2008
I got these pants after fencing for about 4 months in Blade cotton pants and these are soooooo much better. The cotton pants were giving me bruises on my upper thigh from where they pinched when I lunged. The 350N Leon Paul pants are really stretchy and the buttons work much better than the velcro for keeping my pants closed. Took me a little while to figure out the clasps for the elastics but they work great too...no slippage on the elastics.

I love these. They fit great and are comfortable for long periods of time.

Love the buttons instead of Velcro and the locking suspenders are great so they do not come loose.

I like LP stuff, but as mundane as knickers are, these are my favorite LP product.

I\'ve never had a pair of knickers fit like these before. They\'re a dream. This is the first pair I actually wear of my own volition. Instead of wearing the pants from my warm ups, I just throw these on.

The elastic in the knee doesn\'t bind, the legs don\'t constrict my lunge at all, the suspenders don\'t pull the knickers into a wedgie, and I think it was a really good ideas to use buttons instead of velcro on the fly.

I don\'t need the padding in front because I don\'t fence epee, but I guess it\'s handy for foil sometimes. The suspenders could be a somewhat softer material. They\'re not the greatest. However, they do have a solid mechanism holding them in place, so they don\'t slip out like sometimes happens.

Edit: After fencing in them awhile, I take it back. The suspender material is great. I just needed the right shirt for it. They didn\'t feel right on bare skin or a cotton shirt, but when I wore an Underarmour type shirt, it was great.

Summary: good stuff
July 19th, 2003
I'd recomend these, and highly. They fit very well, stay put, and while they stretch, they provide as much or more protection than my old duct ones did. The extra lining in front makes a difference, especially in epee. I've had them for a while now, and they've held up well- they even wash well. My only complaint is that the zipper tends to creep down after a while.
