Summary: Your basic electric epee.

This is not a bad blade for your first electric epee or to have a couple of cheaper backup blades in your bag. Having said that I think there are better options for about the same money.

The blade itself has a decent finish. Its machining is not super smooth or polished but it gets the job done, and is a lot better than some of the cheapest epee blades out there.

The blade has good overall flex, but the whole weapon tends to curve instead of just the top half. The weight is a bit more than I would expect for a non-Maraging blade, but it is not uncomfortably so.

The blade stands up well to hard use, but like all of the Fleche brand blades it rusts very easy. The balance is neutral, being neither tip nor hilt heavy. Unfortunately this combined with the way the blade flexes and the overall weight means that it feels a bit lifeless and slow in the hand, at least to me.

I think that the BF or SM entry level blades are a better overall value for not a lot more money. Still it is not a bad blade, especially for the newer fencer.
