Uhlmann Insulated Sabre Guard

Well, it's a sabre guard. It is supposed to be hit. It is light weight and takes a beating well. It is a good upgrade from the old clunky guards I started with. Mine lasted three years before needing replacement. The plastic instulation at the bottom of the knuckle bow is the first thing to go. I simply place tape over it.
