Inox "Ice Blue" Foil lamé
I have just recently replaced my old Uhlmann lame with the new PBT Inox lame (not ice blue though). First thing I noticed was that PBT sure put a lot of thought into this piece of equipment.
The lower strap is stretchy and can be clipped off on one end. The zipper-flap does not curl like the Uhlmann tends to do and the velcro at the top is quite large. The inner polyester lining is sewn over the edge at the neck so you won'nt scratch yourself. I also like the light color, it's nearly white. Though I can't say anything about durability, one downside certainly is the D-ring in the back. It's in the middle of the lame, rather than left (for a rightie), so I do tend to get my leg cought up in the wire in rapid retreats.
If this lame holds as well as it looks and feels, it's great!
