Epee Bodycord
All in all I am very impressed with these cords. They build off of the Leon Paul cord model so they offer a very slim profile in the socket and there is not much sticking out that can catch a point that skips off the bell.
The blue insulation is very thick and durable, but it is blue so it is hard to see any wire breaks you may have. With the steel cored wire that is super durable this is not very likely to happen though.
In both the plus and the minus catagory, is the fact that they solder the pins to the wire. This gives you a very sturdy lockup that is very long lived. However, unless you keep a soldering iron in your fencing tool kit, if it breaks at a tourney, it stays broke uptil you get it back home.
At about $45 they are a almost more than twice the price of the LP epee cords which are almost as durable and also have a clear wire and self peircing screws on the connectors so that you can repair them in the field.
I guess what it really comes down to is if you do your own repairs. If you do, the LP cords might be a better choice, but if not the Negrini cords are tanks and are the most durable on the market, just a pain to repair once the do break.
