Summary: Awesome Practice Jacket
January 23rd, 2006

The Fencing Post makes an awesome entry level practice jacket. Fits me perfect, cotton is durable, double layer all the way through-and-through, and there\'s a third layer of padding for the front/sides panel that helps stop hits, making it far more durable than any other entry-level jacket I\'ve seen. Stretch panels on the back and sleeves ensure it will move with you. Stitching is durable as well. It\'s only possible downside is that it gets a little warm wearing it, but for the excellent durability, its a small price to pay. I can not say enough good things about this jacket; I highly recommend it.

[EDIT] Just to update the review, it's January 2009 and my jacket is still in great shape, including the zipper and velcro.  Awesome work.  However, I wanted to add also that I believe this particular brand (Post) of jacket has been replaced by the Chinese Linea brand.  They are identical for virtually all intents and purposes; my club at UCM, in Warrensburg, MO, has several of the new Linea jackets, and they all seem the same (I've used them on occasion myself).
