Summary: some better than others

I too am a big fan of the Ron Miller Wacky Wacker. I have several that I purchased from Ron when he first ha dthem made. They are all still good as new (except one the dog ate, dog's repost!) Over time I have purchased a few more that are of a lessor quality than the original. They are still great teaching tolls and great fun but they do not hold up as well as the original blue or red ones.

Things to look for:

the density of the foam and if there are any seems or splices. I have seen a few being sold that are made out of foam that has been spliced together creating a seem in the foam that can cut.

Several companies now make wacky wackers under a variety of names. (So much for that patent)

Prieur sells them, sword masters, PBT and a company in the UK Battling sells all sorts of "extras"

get some there fun, fencers and none fencers can enjoy beating the stuffings out of each other. I've had a pair in my law firm's library for 5 years now and no one can evre resist grabing them and taking a wack at some one.
