"Econoline" Foil Glove
I've used the "Champion" glove and I've used this ("Ecoline") glove. I currently am using the "Ecoline" because it has a similar fit as the "Champion" but is much cheaper.
When I fence, I tend to destroy equipment, and gloves are no different. Given that I always extend the life of my equipment with various layers of cloth and duct tape, I opted for the mid-line rather than top of the line glove.
The drawback to this glove is that it is a little more fragile for washing. I never put these through a washing machine, but rather hand wash them in the sink with some Woolite.
These do wear out first on the palm near the pinky finger and at the tip of the index finger.
Overall, it's a good value but not quite as durable as the top line gloves.
