Summary: Too flexible
September 9th, 2003
This blade is ultra flexible. In fact, it is the most flexible blade I have ever used. I bet someone with a strong arm could flick his own hand with this thing. If you like to flick, I guess this blade would be good for you. The problem is the fact that this is a dry blade, which means flicking is pointless. You can still parry with this thing I guess, but don't expect your riposte to be very accurate. The blade does rust a bit, but I do not think it rusts more than any other average cheap blade. There is one thing I do like about the flexibility though; it is good for poking wall targets. The flexibility will keep the blade from damaging the wall (with a rubber tip of course). Also, if you want to fence dry with someone who does not like pain, use this blade.
