Electric épée blade Leon Paul

Jacob French
Summary: LP non FIE blade: light as a feather, incredibly durable, and great for the fencers who prefer speed and timing without brute force.

I'm a big fan of the Leon Paul blades, especially with a french grip. Being a rather short fencer of 5'8'' I like the idea of the french method of fencing (using/redirecting the opponents force against them). It's a great buy if you're like me and prefer to let your opponent "run himself through" onto your blade, as opposed to using an aggressive muscular approach against the opponents blade. The balance of the leon Paul blade is incredible, it's light, and it lasts extremely long! I would highly recommend this for the competitive fencer who can't afford to replace blades every few months due to snapping.

As kind of an added bonus, (if you like an arc in your blade) the Leon Paul naturally forms an even arc over time without creating weak spots that require constant straitening, which is great for accessing the short targets like the hand, wrist and forearm.

Overall, my favorite epee blade by far!
