Summary: Durable practice blade
July 4th, 2003
I've been watching three of these blades "in play" for the last 4 months. One is with an intermediate fencer -- she loves it. One is used daily to give lessons -- light! And one is a club weapon abused by new fencers -- rugged. These are nice practice blades, with no problems yet. They are not rust-resistant, and rust spots appear quickly if you store them with your sweaty clothes.

Pros: Flexible but not whippy, keeps a curve, long-lasting

Cons: Rapid rust spots if not cared for.
