FWF Gel Extreme Grip Glove

Summary: Gel Pads!!

I am enjoying this glove tremendously thus far. I can't stop talking about the grip pads on the palm. I've been fencing for a long time, and I've got that perma-callous right below my pinky to prove it ... the one that usually gets a little larger after a solid lesson, practice session, or tournament. Not any more. This glove provides really satisfactory padding right where I need it. The fit was a little bit stiff and tight upon first use, but has definitely stretched a little bit and is now properly snug. It's also kind of nice to have a roomier wrist area that doesn't require creative folding of one's jacket sleeve to attain a comfortable fit. I haven't been hit on the hand or the wrist yet to attest to the gel padding or slickness of the leather, but I think that all of the features combine to provide a very comfortable glove that truly lessens some of the problems/pains that can come from a long day of fencing. I loved my old Uhlmann glove, but the FWF Extreme Grip is definitely an upgrade.
