Uhlmann World Cup FIE Jacket
I bruise so easily, but this jacket has cut down on that problem! The protection is great!
Also, I\'m 5\'7\'\' and 120 lbs so I need a small jacket (size 36) with long sleeves. In the past, I have had to buy a larger size and spend $50 to get it tailored to fit me better. But this jacket has a perfect, feminine fit. Excellent mobility too.
I have had it for two years and it still looks brand new!

Great jacket. This is the standard that I compare other jackets to (despite the fact that Uhlmann has another "higher" line of clothing). I've had mine for nearly 5 years and the only complaint that I have is that the zipper tab has broken off. Happened sometime during a sabre event. I removed the lame and didn't have the tab for the zipper. Still usable, but zippers are the recurring complaint about this jacket.

This jacket rocks my world. It's a bit long for me since I'm rather petite, but other than that it fits quite nicely. It also is thick so flicks are absorbed well and you aren't as bruised as you would be with a regular cotton jacket. Does make things a little warm though...

I have to say, Uhlmann did well this time. I've had problems with women's jackets not fitting very well, especially through the bust, but this jacket feels like it was made for me. I regret to say it's even cut down on the number of bruises I've gotten. So much for war wounds.
My only complaint is that it's a little long in the sleeves. But far better than too short!

I have two Uhlmann World Cup jackets ('00 and '03). They are cut for the average "sporty" human being while the Allstar trim is for more athletic guys. The botton of zipper for the '00 jacket broke and had to used safety pin and finally superglued the bottom of the zipper. Part of it was, a few extra pounds, but I think designers should have placed a metallic inset.

This jacket fits great. I am tempted to think that Uhlmann made it just for me. The sleeves are the appropriate length. The shoulders fit well without binding. I do have some extra room in the waist line but I've lost 30 pounds since buying this jacket.
I bought it at nationals in 98 for an excellent price. A minor problem I have had is the stiching on the zipper is shredding. I have to secure the bottom of the jacket with a saftey pin so that it does not unzip while fencing. A few of the seams are starting to wear too. I consider this normal for a fencing jacket that has been used 3 to 4 times a week for epee and sabre for five years.
I will be replacing this jacket within the next year. I hope to find another Uhlmann W/C that fit as well as this one.
