Electric Epee

The blade I bought was not a standout and I am not at all pleased with the tip. I've been through a few tips in only a couple months of use: I cannot get the travel spring to stay set enough to pass shims for more than 10 touches at a time. I've tried new springs and whole new tips. The blade seems average to me but now that I've used it a while seems to be getting flimsier with every bout, with a recurring s-curve that keeps coming back though I am not a heavy-handed fencer.
