Summary: Not your best option.

One of these was my first ever fencing jacket. I still have the jacket somewhere, but no longer use it.

I had several problems with it. Mine was in theory custom cut for me, as I am a larger that average guy, but despite having given them my exact measurements, the jacket still fit poorly. It was a bit short, the sleeves where a bit long, and it was about four or five inches to big around the waist.

The jacket is made from a very heavy denim that is, well, very heavy. The jacket weighs a lot, it takes forever to dry, and does not move as well as I would like, but that could be more of an issue with the fit as opposed to the material itself.

I also had problems with the Velcro that was used, as it was not very strong after a few washings, and I eventually replaced it. The only good side is that the thick fabric does a good job of absorbing slaps and whips.

Overall I would say for the money you could do much better getting a nylon or cotton jacket from another company. It will most likely weigh less, fit better, and last as long or longer.
