Prieur FIE foil blade

Chafunkta
Summary: cheap, but quality
July 1st, 2005
I've used these blades exclusively for about a year now. I started using them because they were cheap and just kept up with it because it was the blade I was comfortable with. My first one lasted about 9 months and my other two are still going strong.

They're about average weight, and very flexible in the foible. Unfortunately the flexibility in the foible means it bends there and stick easily. A lot of times I have to fix a pretty severe bend after a touch (which is just a matter of hand-bending, but can still get annoying). Also, that point of bend is exactly where the blade will break about 4 months down the road.

Overall it's a good blade for the price, but I wouldn't recommend using them exclusively.
