Blue Gauntlet Lightweight Foil Lame

I am very pleased with this lame.  I bought this at a NAC when my lame was a little too small.  I bought it because it wasn't expensive and planned to use it as a backup to the pricier one I had.  I've never used anything else since then!  I have a long and thin torso and this lame fits me perfectly.  It's long enough, it fits snug, but not too close.  It feels like it was tailored for me!  I have had lames by PBT, Infinity, Leon Paul, and Uhlmann and this is by far the best and least expensive by about $50.  I'm the only one in my club that has this and I get compliments all the time.

As far as I can tell it is exactly the same material as the LP ultralight, but cheaper, and fits better the LP did on me.  It's holding up very well, but I would buy another one just to have a second piece of such a great product.  Very light, very cool, washable, stylish and comfortable.  What else can you ask for?

Only possible downside: It's been said before, it will get marks on it very quickly, but it's only cosmetic, just get the lame.

I have to say I was surprised. This lame is very light (on the body and the wallet). It has held up very well so far, as I've had it for 4 months now, and have been using it twice a week for practice, and competitions. It does develop black marks from hard touches with the tip of the foil, but I have not found any dead spots. I've washed it a twice already, as it was drenched from sweat and quite stinky, and no problems from that.
