These are the F.net house brand sockets and while it is hard to tell from the tiny pick, they have some interesting differences from the standard German socket or one of it's endless Chinese or Hungarian made clones.
First off, the shape is a little different. Shaped more like a Leon Paul socket in that they are squared off more than rounded. The machining on the internal diameter of the sockets has so far been great and I have not had any of the stuck body cord issues that happen all to frequently with the Chinese made "German" style sockets.
Another very nice little feature is that the ground tab is slightly faired so that when you raise the retaining clip up, it stays up, locked in place by the ground tap. A very nice little feature! The metal of these guards is also more malleable than the German sockets so if you use a nonstandard socket position, it is easier to get your socket seated just right. Finally the sockets are light in weight and sit low inside your guard so that if you use a thin profile cord such as an LP, Negrini or Prieur, just about everything except the wire itself is safely hidden inside your guard.
All in all, the best budget socket out there in my experience.
