Bought lots from LP. mostly weaponry and associated hardware. I also use an LP mask with contour fit - nice. Never a prob with order accuracy and no delays. Stuff ships from the UK usually the next day and arrives at my door in Seattle in two or three days. Good prices for the excellent quality too. I\'ve had various probs with other suppliers - never with LP USA

I placed my order early Friday morning, and received my shipment Monday morning. That was from England to Seattle. I was amazed at how fast it was. I was able to track it on line too.
The order was accurate. I'll place a separate review for the FIE 1600 mask, but so far I'm very impressed with the whole experience.

This is the 3rd time I ordered from Leon Paul and I’m very satisfied. The mask is really light with the contour fit system. The jacket I really like. I ordered a 38 even my exact size is 36; so I can wash it and I expected it to shrink but it never did. I can say the jacket feels really good it has an inner shell that makes it feel comfortable.
In school we always play around when the coach are in the back and just try to disengage each other but w/ the Leon Paul pistol grip, it was the best it have a different texture and makes you grip it better. The emails was also good, they reply fast at one point in the afternoon it feels like I was on AIM that’s how fast they replied.
Now I’m saving up for the flick master and hopefully ill get it first week of june.

In early April I ordered a complete foil with the Golubitsky-Pro blade and a 280C mask. There are good pictures and other information on the Leon Paul USA web site and I found it easy to select the items I wanted and place the order. The items were shipped promptly and I received an email with a tracking number.
However, when I received the foil, the blade was poorly ground. I was very surprised that it made it past Leon Paul’s quality control. Also, the mask was too large, but that was my fault, not Leon Paul’s.
I contacted Leon Paul USA about the problem at sales@leonpaulusa.com (no telephone number is available) and asked for instructions on exchanging the blade. I received a terse, informal email in return that did not address my questions. Additional emails went unanswered. I repackaged the items and returned them to the US location. Follow up email messages went unanswered until I copied the UK office, and also did not answer my questions.
After about 3 weeks, I received the replacement mask. I am very happy with the quality, fit and function of the mask.
Today, I received the replacement foil. It has been almost a month since I returned the defective blade. The blade on this foil is also poorly ground, although not as bad as the first. I have not decided if I will keep the blade or return it.
Based on this experience, I would advise caution before ordering from Leon Paul. While their products are generally of very high quality, they evidently do have some issues with blade quality control. I found their lack of service to be extremely frustrating.

I have ordered from Leon Paul USA three times now and have had about a 1 week delivery each time. Two of the orders were for complete electrical epees, and I have been quite pleased with both weapons, the quality is great. (I just dislike their concept of a French Grip, but that's my opinion.)
Online ordering works very well, and there is good notification that the product has shipped, and the shipping was via US Express Mail, which was very quick. They even inlcuded a nut that I emailed to have added to the order at the last minute. My only gripe about this is that my emails (sales@leonpaulusa) where not replied to confirm that they had gotten the request. But, I believe Chattanooga was that week, so that may be the reason. On a previous order where I had ordered the wrong size, the return policy was no-hassle, and my correspondance was replied to quickly.

Ordered FIE jacket, breeches, plastron, mask. Odd size eventually lead to custom tailoring for breeches. Quality of product exceptional, but service was extremely frustrating.
Once order was placed, follow-up with measurements did not make it to right department as per Craig. Original measurements for breeches required custom tailoring, but rather than telling me that to begin with, they just sent wrong ones that weren't even particularly close. These, off course, has to then be exchanged.
Communication was slow, and I would often not even get a response unless I put "P L E A S E R E P L Y" in subject line.
Understaffed? I think proprietor may have bit off mare than he can chew.

Ordered a mask, only to have it delayed from being shipped because they were "busy" or something to that effect. I find that unacceptable from a store, if your service declines when you actually have customers. Took about 3 weeks to receive my mask.

I have previously posted a stellar review of both my Leon Paul order, and of the great communication I received from both Alex and Craig concerning my order. I was going to order from the UK site and just play the exchange rate to get it right from LP. After several discussions and posts on fencing.net I decided that Leon Paul USA was the way to go, and I was happy to be supporting Craig and Fencing.net. I had a couple of items that needed returned, and sent them back. I was immediately sent back one and while it was just a pair of socks, it didnt look at all like the model I ordered, but for the speed and the quality...I'd let the socks go. The other item was not all that important as well...just a t-shirt. But I was charged for the more expensive model I ordered and sent a cheaper version I didnt. So this, has now been over a month since I returned it and I have gotten no communication with Craig, Alex or any of the other Leon Paul Staff. If I was to have pointed out one thing that I liked best about the entire ordering process with LP, it would have been the fast and consistent communication. This, as far as returns go, has been seriously lacking in recent weeks. And now, somewhere out there in the "cosmos" is a $30 tshirt ordcer that I have no way of tracking, following, or even knowing where, when or if, it is to ever arrive. Come on guys...just a little better communication on the returns. I know your busy with the holidays, but still, how long does it take to send an email? I just hope all the LP stuff I order in the future is right the first time, because the return process is a bit disconcerting.

I have ordered from Leon Paul USA three times since their inception. I am extremely pleased with the quality of their products. All three times, the orders where shipped from Britain, and arrived in less than 6 days even with Thanksgiving. I like shipping rate, I know it is imputed in the price, but it is great to be able to just purchase one item and not have to spend 20 pounds for shipping. I am so impressed with leon paul I think that they will be my sole supplier! The only thing I would add is phone orders or even a real shop, but I understand that might be a possibility in the future. Anyway, I recommend highly.

Ordered some miscellanious sabre parts from them. The free shipping is really appreciated, particularly on smaller orders, though I certainly plan on making future purchase from them. Despite what has been said from another reviewer, the shipping was pretty fast, given that it appears their stock is shipped from England.

i ordered something and still haven't gotten it. its been over a week and i really don't want to hear that i threw away money because it got lost along the way.
what you should do is have an option to pay extra for an upgrade like DHL or something like that. i really don't know why everyone doesn't use DHL. you get your stuff in like 2 DAYS!!! and you can track it!!!
other than that i think leon paul's quality is excellent. if the shipping options change i'll consider ordering here again.
