TCA stretch nylon jacket is double-layered in the target areas, providing 371 Newtons of puncture resistance. The nylon material has been specifically designed for athletic uniforms. It breaths and wicks moisture as well as most natural fibers, yet offers no resistance to movement and gives better protection against whips that other nylon jackets.

Summary: Good fit, comfortableMarch 4th, 2009
I agree with the previous reviewer that this is a comfortable jacket that keeps you relatively cool. Mine fit great (I told Triplette my size). I haven't noticed any hits feeling more forceful due to the nylon material. I do wear it with an underarm protector of course, just to be on the safe side :)

Summary: Excellent JacketOctober 16th, 2003
I love my new jacket! This jacket is perfect if you want to move up from the stiff and hot denim/duck fabric but can't afford the high cost of an FIE jacket. It's relatively cool and comfortable but I don't feel at all unprotected. My only complaint is that my sleeves are a touch too long, but I'm a larger guy wearing a larger size...and I'm sure Triplette's seamstress would have altered it had I asked.
