These blades are made of solid metal and allow a good feel for the sword, versus very light metal that many of the other companies use. This is even better with the foils. Then you can buy a leather grip instead of plastic, which aesthetically nicer since it is leather colored instead of bright plastic and I find provides better gripping.
The more weight is easy to use and helps build up arm strength that I have found gives an advantage over those use lighter blades. Then they put a good bend in it, that was easy to get back to, and the blades did not over bend like many of the thinner blades.
I would recommend these blades over all of the others I have used, and tried.

Made by Blaise Ferres (sp). Blade is a bit stiff even for S2000, and for the life of me I can't make it take a bend the normal way. It's also heavy. On the positive side, it seems very durable and allows for strong beats and takes. The weight and stiffness sometimes make it hard to control how hard one hits.
Not bad, but I'm happier with a lighter blade so long as it's not too whippy.
