Summary: Not a bad blade
December 28th, 2004
I've gone through several of these blades myself. I have been quite fond of their balance. They're light and nice to use. The biggest problem with them is I find they break a little more often than most other sabre blades I've tried. Particularly as a sabre fencer who likes to use the point more often than most, they don't hold up particularly well to bending.

Overall, it's not a bad blade, but their durability is a concern.

Summary: Nice, light, controllable
October 27th, 2003
Definitely lighter and more maneuverable than some of the stiffer S2000 blades, like Triplette/Blaise Ferres (sp). Also, unlike the Triplette/BF blade, it will take a bend. It's still stiff enough for S2000 and provides positive control of the blade location (not whippy). Reminds me a fair bit of the old Prieur blades, with a bit stiffer foible.

Finishing looks good (a bit better than the BF blades) and no cutting of the tang was required.
