Other reviewers haven't mentioned the medium-sized flat zipper pocket inside the bag.
One missing feature that would have been nice in a guitar bag such as this would be an open divider across the bottom (while standing vertical) meant to isolate the shoes.
Otherwise it's well made for the price, and roomier than most, with more than average useful pockets.
One minor negative is the white piping used around the bag, where it picks up dirt like a magnet.

A good bag. The main pocket is big enough to hold 3 epee's, 2 foils, 2 jackets, 2 masks, 2 pairs of knickers, 2 plastrons, a pair of shoes, socks and gloves. Its a very tight squeeze, but if you work it, its possible.

Apologies for any superfluous elements this contains.
I bought this Blade bag because, well, I thought it looked nice (I wasn't a particularly informed shopper back then), and it wasn't particularly. As was said, this bag is the perfect fit for the recreational fencer. It's also a good beginner bag, for bringing gear between home and the salle, but for those beginning fencing on a budget, I wouldn't recommend a "beginner's bag". It would be more economical to buy a two-compartment rollbag right away (you will likely need it, eventually).
The angle of the bag in the picture on this page makes it seem bigger than it is, but the bag is very roomy. The main pocket can fit a full set of competition gear for one fencer (though I wouldn't crowd my lame' in there), and the outside pockets can hold gloves, cords, towels and an extra shirt. The pockets can't hold anything else (unless you wear very small-sized shoes) There's also an inner pocket which I only discovered recently. I wouldn't personally put anything bulking in there, even though the pocket's material is stretchy, because it would reduce room in the main pocket. It may be a good place to put your fencing journal/organizer (I'm not the only one, I'm sure :) ) or a small book with which to curl up during long drives or during downtime.
Having the bag for several months now, and realizing that I am continually adding new items to my list of fencing gear, I wish that I had gotten a larger bag instead. The single pocket makes keeping sweaty clothes away from blades difficult (I carry a mesh sack with me to tournaments to keep wet gear separate) and the outer pockets are too small to carry all the little items I want. Without any internal framework, a pvc pipe or other sturdy object is essential for keeping the bag from flopping over and making (me feel) my foils are secure.
Despite these details, however, I would certainly recommend this bag to non-competitive fencers as well as those lucky few who possess a substantial fencing budget and can afford both a competition bag and a club/training bag.

This bag is quite roomey, but it could use some more seperate compartment inside for the uniform. There is one large pocket inside though along with four smaller pockets on the outside. I can hold about 4-6 foils comfortably with everything else too.

This bag is a good bag for some-one just starting to compete. It can carry a mask and about 3 epees or sabres and 4 foils. At a squeeze you can put in a second mask, but then you definitely need an extra bag for clothing, plastrons, shoes etc. The side compartments are big enough for a few body-wires, a spare t-sirt and a glove, I couldnot fit any other clothing in there.
The quality is acceptable: I used mine for 3 years, but after 18 months I needed to repair the top end of the bag as the foils had gone right through it. The bag is big enough for the competitive fencer in the first year or two of competitive fencing, or just right for the recreational fencer. As soon as you get more serios and get more weapons, tool kits etc you will need a bigger bag. also, if you fence more than one weapon, think about getting a bigger bag.
I replaced it with a different bag because I needed a bigger bag.
