Uhlmann Epee Body Cord

This is an excellent bodycord and it is truly worth the money you pay for it. Compared to the others, I\\\'ve so far have had very little problems with it in the past year. It has passed the test in competitions everytime.



I keep my body cords seperate from my other equipment, however, I do place my yucky sweaty glove in there (which I probably shouldn\'t) and have noticed a slight corrosion. (But that\\\'s due to my own negilence.)



I would not reccomend any bodycord but this one. Every other bodycord seems to break after the first few months.

Well, I've got the clear wire cords, and they are durable which is good.



The downside, they are a pain to fix.

Having the white wire insulation rather than clear is annoying, it makes finding breaks that much harder. The clamshell cases are a royal pain when, as is inevitable, repairs need to be made. The hard cases also put an unneeded strain on the wires and the strain relief provided by Uhlmann is next to useless. That all said, the cords ARE high quality and long lasting. The benefits don't outwiegh the problems, and the cost isn't worthwhile here. Save your money, buy a quality cheap cord and spend the savings on equipment where it'll make a difference.

I can only second (third etc) the sentiment that you GET what you pay for. All of Uhlmann's body wires have been a dream compared to the cheap ones I've used. They hold up well, are easy to repair, and I make sure to grab a pair of Uhlmann's before I go tournamenting- its my team mates who don't that end up borrowing them.



Well worth the money, and the best buy, especially for the long run.

All body cords have wires that break. The difference is how often you have to fix them. I've only had to fix this body cord twice in the four years that I've owned it. The pins have no corrosion at all on them. Don't buy cheap body cords. Drop the cash and get something that is reliable like this one.

have no complaints except for the rubber piece that protects the end of the wire. i have found that by wrapping electrical tape around this part helps it and solves the problem for the most part. other than that, i have done nother to mine since i got them a year ago, and they are still going strong.
