Uhlmann "Olympia" FIE knickers

I really do like the material these are made out of. Light, breathable and slick. These pants have some stretch, although I would prefer more. The level of protection and tightness of the weave is very good. Most of the important seams are double stitched, although I think more stitching would be good on the taps that the suspenders are attached to. Those tabs are plastic which is good since they won't rush, but I worry about long term durability. I would prefer beefier plastic or Stainless Steel.



My complaints come in two areas. The first is that the elastic suspender material is not very robust and stretches out fairly easy. The second is with the Velcro on the waist. I found that it did not stay shut reliably and seemed to just get worse after after a fairly short amount of time. It got to the point that I just had buttons attached and now the are much more usable! However, for the money I don't feel you should have to make extra adjustments just to get them to stay on, therefore their low value rating.



Overall not bad, but I would suggest LP, Negrini or Duelist for the money. Especially considering the LP and Duelist offer a wicking liner for about the same money.

It\'s a little bit of a wider cut than the Allstar Startex but i love it. It\'s comfy, light and stretchy.

Durable, comfortable, and lightweight.

For me, the only things I would improve would be the zippers and the elastic. Sometimes, they have a habit of going kaput early on. Other times, they seem to last forever.



I'm pretty thin, and the Uhlmann cut is a little wide for me, but it's not horrible.

These knickers are the most comfortable I've ever worn. The fabric is soft and smoothe, and there's just enough stretch to keep it feeling good in even the deepest lunge. Only problem I have with the fit is they're a little long, relative to the waist size. They're a little expensive, but they offer the safety of FIE clothing. If you can afford it, it's certainly a good option.

Just like the jacket, these knickers are of great value, comfort and safety. They are as sleek as the jacket. They also are one piece so annoying seems do not run down the theighs. I would not trade a thing in the world for the protection they offer.

these knickers are made out of the same material as the olympia jacket, so they are lightweight and stretch making them very comfortable to wear all day. they also do not have the extra piece of fabric down the front of the leg like the world cup knickers do, this prevents blades from getting hung up, making them safer.
