Summary: Not that Bad.
August 7th, 2005
As these other people have mentioned this bag will hold everything a rec fencer needs. I personally like to keep all my stuff together so the large size is good. I've taken care of my bag since I've got it and its still in perfect condition. My only beef with it would be the side pockets. They are a little small but I don't think they were intended to be for something like a lame because of its expence. There is no way to lock the side pockets, but the main pockets have a very handy loop for a small dollar store size lock. All in all I think its a great bag for the team and/or individual.

Summary: big but average

As a friend commented, if you fill this bag then it probably weighs more than you want to carry. If you need more capacity maybe you should probably consider a roller bag.

The two compartments allow weapons to be stored seperate from other items and the two pockets hold lots of little things. However it is awckward to carry and I'm not certain how long the zippers will hold out (they look better suited for a coat than luggage). With its large capacty it may make a good team bag, however for the individual recrational fencer there are probably better bags available for the price that are easier to carry.

Summary: neither best nor worst. .

This bag in my experience is big enough for eveything that a One weapon fencer could possibly want to put in it. The two main pockets fit all uniform and weapons, while the side ones can fit Bodycords, USFA cards, etc.

Worth the money

Summary: You'll need another bag..
July 16th, 2003
This bag is only good for about three weapons and your mask. It will hold your uniform as well but beware of rusty blades. The side pockets are only big enough to hold a glove and some body cords. You can't put a lame in there as advertised. The durability of this bag isn't good either. Within a year the carrying straps ripped loose followed by the seams. My weapon tips would stick out the loose seams. Eventually, the bag didn't have to be unzipped to get stuff out of it.

Buy a different bag.
