Blue Gauntlet sabre lame

Overall not a bad saber lame, my club uses them extensively. Their a bit snug, but we've not had any problems from them.

I'd definitely say this is the best sabre lame for the price, or even somewhat higher price. The material is sturdy, but not overly "rough", so unlike some other lames I've had, there's hardly any of a problem with worn spots or holes appearing where two lame surfaces rub against each other (like under the arm). The overall fit is good, and the zipper works well. The collar tends to have a fairly snug fit. I have noticed some issues with parts coming unstitched (under-arm seams, the ring on the back), though these are easily fixed.

This lame has been in use for two years. It works great and shows little signs of use. Only slight discoloring on the bib. I had to replace my old lame at Nationals and found this one for under one hundred dollars. The fit is a little tight but not restrictive. It gets worn about once a month since I only use this lame for competitions.
