Allstar epee body cord

I dislike the body cords that have plastic heads. To prevent the cords getting damaged by the head, you have to have the rubber ring around it, which (if the rubber is a different color than the cord) can help you see if you have broken the cord. Further, if the wire gets separated from the tine, you have to open the whole thing up to check it, which also risks cutting the wire when you put it back together if you aren't paying close attention. I prefer the Leon Paul body cords if only for how easy it is to check them for faults.
I had one but now I have given it away why?
They have this nasty habit of falling out of Leon Paul spools which I am sure has lost me hits.
The rigid plastic case makes a weak spot in the wire which snaps.
I have been hit on the plug which stuck out of the guard on my (Allstar) epee.
all in all rather unimpressed

I dislike this body wire not because of the durability (it seems ok) but because of the size of the connector [which is huge]. Consequently it doens't always fit into the connector that I use on my Epee's.
I've still got one however I only really use it for testing purposes.
