PORTLAND, OR - 2004 Gold Medalist Mariel Zagunis and Olympic Veteran Keeth Smart will lead the US Women's and Men's Sabre teams at the 2008 Olympic Games.

The United States qualified three teams for Olympic competition - Women's Sabre, Men's Sabre, and Women's Foil.

Bronze medalist Sada Jacobson and Rebecca Ward will join Zagunis on the women's saber team. Dagmara Wozniak is the alternate and can be called in as a substitute during the team event.

Smart, who fenced in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics is joined by Jason Rogers and Tim Morehouse. James Williams is the alternate.

Erinn Smart, Emily Cross, and Hannah Thompson comprise the women's foil team with Doris Willette as the alternate.

Each of the three team members for the women's foil, saber and men's saber teams will also compete in the individual events in Beijing.

Seth Kelsey qualified for his second Olympic games with an individual berth in the men's epee event.  The US failed to qualify their team in the men's epee event.  Kelsey won the US Men's Epee individual championship on Friday.

In men's foil, Gerek Meinhart will compete for the US and Kelley Hurley will compete in the women's epee event.
