Dan Kellner, the top-ranked foil fencer in the United States, decided to skip the World Cup in Vancouver this month so he could participate in the Maccabiah Games. His international ranking slipped from No. 11 to 12 as a result, but the 29-year-old Olympian doesn't seem to regret it.
