I've taken up blacksmithing. Which has taken on the trend of twisting- obnoxiously- small- pieces- of- iron- into- pendants lately.


This is one I kept for myself (which is to say, the other ones are better).

My fencing coach's wife is a metals and jewelry professor. Her workshop is awesome! It has all kinds of little hammers, and anvils, and other assorted hammering/twisting/bending tools!


Oh and nice little pendant!

sadly, I no longer have a forge at my disposal, since I no longer get to live in Mystic Seaport. *sniff*


And it's not really supposed to look like a snake.... I like snakes in the general sense that they contribute to the ecosystem but I'm a mammal girl myself.
