It's not dead - it's early spring.


Anyone from Manitoba who does the Brandon-Winnipeg run probably knows this tree. It's, uh... halfway between Brandon and Winnipeg. Sits there all by itself, and you can see it from a long way off.

I know that tree.... my husband pointed it out. I think he stood under it for sometime hitchhiking in the 70's. It's so weird I know which tree it is.

With that landscape, you could see about anything from a long ways off.

Yeah, it can be pretty flat out there... fortunately, there are often enough animals on the road (either the deer kind or the ones driving big trucks kind) to keep you on your toes.
