This is Gus, our new guinea pig. This picture was taken the day after he came home, in October 2005. Poor Radar shuffled off his mortal coil about a year earlier (as guinea pigs are wont to do), and we missed having a little squeaky furry thing that kicked poo and wood shavings all over the carpet. I put my Leatherman in there for a size comparison.
For little furballs with a brain the size of a pea, they actually have pretty varying personalities.

He's a lot bigger now - I guess I could cut some holes in a big spaghetti sauce can or something, make him a suit of armour. Then he could play with the cats, no problem.
