Incidently, a "good" 3 inch bend will get you a card. The legal limit on a foil blade is 2 cm off axis. (eppe 1 cm, saber 3 cm)

no no, I meant that when I hit the target, the blade of my weapon had that bend. I am just guessing the bend was that much since I think that is how much a bend the weapon must have in classical fencing for a touch to be recognized. I could be wrong though.
