Array Piste, who's piste? Hi everybody,
I'm at the University of Leicester in the UK. Our uni is currently wanting to get rid of an old copper 'roll-out' piste.
It is in reasonable condition, has no holes and has very little rust. There are no parts to go with it, as it is nearly 15 years old.
If you are interested and are in the UK, please could you email me or message me. I have photographs.
I am currently open to bids.
Thanks in advance, -

Array you should probably put this in the trading post. Fencing will always be a "for love of the game" sport.
I need a good arse kicking to get better, faster! -

Array What's the trading post? If its like AdMag then I dont think that'd work for us.
We wont be sending it free of charge... Anyway we'd need you to come and pick it up. What do you think we are anyway, a bunch of students?! lol -

Array There are 4 sections for General Fencing. You have put your request to sell in Armory, which is inappropriate. Armory is for discussion on the repair and upkeep of equipment. I also noticed you put in in Fencing subsection. This is also inappropriate. This section is for discussion of general interest within the sport of fencing.
The 4th section is where you should have put this request. It is titled 'Trading Post'. This is for the anouncement of the selling or requests to buy equipment. You should ask Craig to move it to the appropriate section. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com

Array I apologise Mr Donald Hollis Clinton Jr. I am new to the board and was unsure where to put it.
Just as an aside... the Leon Paul discussion board (www.fencingforum.com) have a section entitled 'Armoury', then a subsection called 'Second Hand Equipment'. Hence when I arrived here, I assumed that putting it in the armoury section would not offend anyone. -

Array No, I felt your question was a valid one. I am not sure of the value of the subcategory. I personally like having it seperate, since we have had items like shoes.
I did not feel you were being flippant. Of the post I have seen of yours, they have been very polite and informatative. There are too many new users, whose post have no meaning.
I have a tendancy to be formal, when I am talking to strangers, hence my signature. It is my upbringing and I do not want you to feel that what I said was negative towards you. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com

Array Thank you. Its people like you who help welcome the newcomers. You're formality seems like a front to a soft centre. Seems a bit like an old teacher I once knew! Similar Threads -
