It's in the way the words are said. It needs to be clear that you have nothing against homosexuals. Also the context is important. To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar would be a good example of how straight people poke fun at stereotypical homosexual behaviour in a way that is not offensive. Though, Silence of the Lambs was considered very offensive by some homosexuals. In that movie, homosexual traits were used to make the character seem twisted.

It's probably because the first post in response to my request for photos was an insult off the cuff. Read the first page of posts, again. I did not begin using Ad Hom attacks until a number of provocative post against me had passed.


I agree that AF basic training is comprised of IA's and stoppages on the Air Conditioner and Coffee Machine, broken down into squads and executed singly and as a unit. But that is because I come from the infantry

I have friends in the Marines (tee hee,) so I knew Soldier was full of it when he compared AF BT to the Marines. Soldier lies far too often, too easily, and about things of no consequence that effect his ego. Hell, even his name is all wrong. He's no soldier if he's in the Air Force. Ego trip... ego trip...


Further, I've seen little from Soldier on this board that has been unwarrented or offensive.

Statistically, at least, Soldier has shown far more relevence to Fencing.NET then I've seen from Mr. Hutt.

Before my thread was summariliy ripped to shreds, I was here only to get photos. I could have been a pest and gone after everyone in the main fencing forum. Just give me the photos, and no one gets hurt.

How about revealing fencing pics? Actually, I'm looking for fencing photos that can more or less be ridiculed. Like the ones previously mentioned on Ohio's fencing team site. Which I'm only half done ridiculing; I haven't gone after the women's squad... yet.


How else will the kids learn that bridges are dangerous?

Army Fencer, FTH is pretty much known for insulting the pictures of anyone he can find. I think he clearly states that on his website and in the other thread in Water Cooler. I think everyone just needs to relax.

I popped in to read this thread and was surprised that very little of it had to do with photos.

That said, I totally agree with everything Catal said above.

Relax people. The only thing FTH seems guilty of in this thread is spouting jokes that most people here don't find funny.

Taking a photo and then claiming that the guy in the photo (as he does on his website) is gay, isn't my idea of funny, but then again some people really enjoy watching a guy splatter watermelons. And others prefer Sandra Bernhard. Personally none of those ideas even come close to making me laugh.

I have however come up with a simple solution. I don't visit fth's site, watch Sandra Bernhard, and eat I watermelons before anyone can smash them.

In short, I don't worry about how he gets his yuk's, cause he ain't hurtin' anyone.

Was, not is. Talk to graduates from a few years ago - many of whom were prior enlisted in the Marines, or also know Marines - and I'll expect to see you on Lt. Gen. Rosa's doorstep.

Who most emphatically, didn't learn IAs and stoppages of the Coffee Machine. On the flip side, the AF is the only service that has combat right: they send the officers into combat and the noncoms stay home with the ladies, the coffee and the A/C. Guess all that edumacation was a good thing.

However, I also have to stand up for those who've served. Have you Hutt? If not than you're just a fagoty hippy smoking joints and pissing on the graves of people better then you. Slack and idle bags of broken hammers. Why broken hammers? 'Cause there ain't nothing more useless then broken hammers. Can't be slingin' ****e at Soldier for zooming around with his hair on fire. At least he's serving.

And the Marines are slack and idle too. You want real training? Canadian Airborne. Hoo Ah. -50C, 200lbs kit, 250km march and still able to lay in a successful section attack with sticks and stones and broken bones. Your troops play video games while munching Doritos in a nice safe (and Air Conditioned) bunker, miles away from anything like suppressive fire. Marines? Ha! More like High School drop outs smoking dope and pushing buttons. Got so much gee whiz kit that soldiering is like crapping: point and shoot with a well defined, simple (they are Marines, after all), interface.

Our troops, on the other hand, are so tough they don't even need real bullets to practice with (they end up eating them), can make machine guns out of duct tape (called "a field expedient suppresive fire device") and use helicopters that don't even need to fly ("Only wimps get flown into combat. If you can't swim from St. John's to Dubai with 100 lbs of kit, then you don't belong in the real military. Go join the Marines or something.")

if that is sarcasm which i hope it is then keep it to something less important/personal. i know many people in several areas of the armed forces, but unless your in one of those US forces don't mock the training of any of them. it's ok it the US army and US navy make fun of each other and the marines make fun of everyone else but let's just leave it at that.
