I'll try to be as fair as I can without taking sides:

the way I see it, F***** the hutt has every right to ask for photos to develope the site even though he has behaved inappropriatly in the past to seriously piss others off. But when you start posting back in a hostily, you're just feeding the fire to an old grudge. If you take a look from the beginning to end, you can see it building up; not to mention turning into something stupid. Craig/Gav, please close this thread to end the bickering.

His use of the photographs is questionable. Just take a look at his attack on the Ohio State team on FS.

Actually, it is, the same as if a black fencer decided to sign on here with N***** in his name. Not only that, but also the content of his posts tend to be quite offensive - the exact reason such content is explicitly prohibited.

I find it interesting how degenerate a conversation can become as soon as ones sexual orientation enters into the fray. You can always tell those who've just exploded from the closet, eh? The ones who are violently and rabidly queer as a three dollar bill.

The attacks of the logic category Ad Hominem apply both to the one putting forth the argument and the one receiving it and rebutting it. Why is it that any attempt to disagree that your conduct is acceptable is immediately branded hateful and small minded? I am the oppressed, hear me ROAR! [grin] Because I'm gay, I'm able to be offensive and idiotic. Why is it the man (white or straight, either works), is always keeping me down? That you are gay, or straight, or repressed, or missing various...appendedages...is irrelevent.

I agree that AF basic training is comprised of IA's and stoppages on the Air Conditioner and Coffee Machine, broken down into squads and executed singly and as a unit. But that is because I come from the infantry (and yes, we do sleep with our trench partner, just before that gay remark comes out) and everyone knows that the infantry engages the enemy, everyone else just helps a bit. And I have had colonels yell at me that I was acting "like a member of the fairer acting rougher sex". Turns out, the guy next to me was gay as a jaybird and thought the comment funny (and appropriate) as hell. It turns out that it's not a bright idea to prance through razor wire. Who knew?

Further, I've seen little from Soldier on this board that has been unwarrented or offensive. I have, however, seen that from you. I'm happy that Soldier has the capacity to be stupid. I would submit, though, that some learn from past stupidity and some are doomed to repeat it. Statistically, at least, Soldier has shown far more relevence to Fencing.NET then I've seen from Mr. Hutt. Rhetorically, your resort to Ad Hominem attacks shows off the weakness of your position. Might now be a good time to back off and apologize? "An idiot is genius who can't admit that they're wrong."

I am eagerly awaiting you have something useful to say, in which case, I'd gladly participate in your request for conversation. On a side note, just to show that I'm willing to play the game, what sort of pictures are you looking for? General fencing pics or some more, um, revealing ones?

I know I'm gonna regret this sooner or later, but, I know a lot of homosexuals do not feel offended by certain terms. Queer, gay, and ****** are not terms that offend them if used properly. If FTH is gay then his name wouldn't be any more offensive than Queer Eye for the Straight Guy or Queer as Folk. You will probably upset more homosexuals for trying to censor his name than FTH would for having his name.


Army Fencer, FTH is pretty much known for insulting the pictures of anyone he can find. I think he clearly states that on his website and in the other thread in Water Cooler. I think everyone just needs to relax.
